Family caregivers of people with dementia are essential to maintaining the individual at home, maintaining their dignity and safety. We know there is a great deal of interest in available medication and treatment to slow down the dementia process and the ability of the family to meet the person’s needs. This seminar will discuss the role of healthy lifestyles to slow down the progression of symptoms and the role it may play in delaying the onset for people in their 50’s, 60’s, 70’s.

Sociologist Gianni Perilli will also be presenting his book on “Alzheimer’s, Healthy Lifestyles, and the Mediterranean Diet”.
